EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & cO-FOUNDER
Shivangi is the Executive Director and leads the organization with the belief that collaboration across sectors can create strong ideas and solutions for systemic change. She is passionate about solving problems using the principles of good business and good design. She is currently a product manager at Deloitte. She formerly was part of Deloitte's federal health and social sector consulting practice. Shivangi holds her MPH and Bachelor of Science degrees in public health.
Pomi holds a BA in Finance and International Business from the University of Minnesota. She has experience in finance, supply chain efficiency, and IT across various businesses at General Electric, including Aviation, Capital, and Energy. Pomi currently works in Strategic Finance at Uber. She is passionate about improving the lives of others through technology .
Wensheen hails from the East Coast and loves nerding out about data, operations, and human-centered design. She is currently a Global Program Manager at UberEATS and has also worked in both restaurant and driver operations. Before Uber, she was a Consultant with Deloitte’s Strategy practice and also worked with international development organizations in both the US and Latin America. Wensheen holds a BA in Economics from Princeton University. In her free time, she enjoys stress-baking, olympic lifting, and learning new languages.
Ty is excited to be able to combine her passion for public service with her interest in innovative social entrepreneurship through working with Hatch International. She received her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School where she helped small businesses and non-profits in Washington D.C. achieve their goals through the law. She is currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General with the District of Columbia Office of the Attorney General. Ty also holds a B.S. from the Georgetown University Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service.
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN
Meagan is currently a junior at the University of Michigan, pursuing a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a minor in Writing from the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. Meagan is dedicated to empowering under-resourced and underrepresented communities through teaching and learning of cultures domestically and abroad. She has past volunteer experience in East Africa, is proficient in Swahili, and is a Fulbright Scholar.
Langsi is currently a senior at the University of Michigan, pursuing a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a B.A in Cognitive Science. From the Bay Area originally, she's passionate about the human mind, creating real impact in the world with technology, as well as diversity & inclusion initiatives. After some traveling over the summer in Asia, she's planning on working full-time as a Growth Marketing Manager at Hear.com in San Francisco.
Sabrina holds expertise in branding and identity, environmental graphic design, exhibit design, wayfinding and signage,experiential marketing. She is currently a Principal at Shook Kelley in the Los Angeles area.
ADVISOR & CO-FOUNDER
Chandni holds a BSE and BA in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Economics, and an MS in Engineering Technology Innovation Management, both from Carnegie Mellon University. Chandni's background is in renewable energy project development, quantitative economic modeling, and smart grids. She consults for the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy in renewable energy development.
Natasha holds her MPH from Boston University in Maternal and Child Health and BS in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan. Natasha's experiences include consulting for various offices within the Department of Health and Human Services and state government agencies.
Merry led the formation of Hatch International, with a M.Eng degree in Energy Systems Engineering and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Merry's background is in energy efficiency, renewable energy, advanced technology analysis, and policy analysis. She has consulted for the US Department of Energy, and worked in energy storage technology research.
