HATCHING VOICES: OUR AMERICAN STORY campaign SUBMISSION TERMS
Thank you for supporting Hatch International’s Hatching Voices: Our American Story campaign. By clicking "Get Started" on the Hatching Voices page to continue participation in the campaign, you agree that your statements, stories, photographs, video, audio and/or other recordings or media (Submissions) is subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. No Inappropriate Content
a. I agree not to submit inappropriate content including, but not limited to content that:
i. infringes upon or violates the copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of any person
ii. is libelous or defamatory
iii. is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or vulgar
iv. violates a person’s right to privacy
v. violates any local, state, national, or international law
vi. contains or advocates illegal or violent acts
vii. degrades others on the basis of gender, race, class, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other classification
viii. is predatory, hateful, or intended to intimidate or harass, or contains derogatory name-calling
ix. contains advertising
x. contains a solicitation of any kind
xi. misrepresents your identity or affiliation
xii. impersonates others
xiii. is in poor taste or is otherwise objectionable
2. Ownership and License to Use
a. I agree that I retain ownership in my Submission, but by submitting my Submission I give Hatch International, and those authorized by Hatch International, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable and perpetual license to disseminate, modify and use my Submission, in whole or in part, in all media, now known or later developed. This permission includes, but is not limited to, publication on Hatch international’s website, social media, print and online publications, newsletters, publicity and promotions, fundraising, and educational programming.
3. Privacy
a. I agree that by making a submission, I waive any privacy expectations I may have with regard to my Submission including, but not limited to, my name, likeness, voice, and biographical information. If selected by Hatch International my Submission will be, in whole or in part, available for inclusion on the Hatch International website and social media and available to the general public.
b. I understand that Hatch International is under no obligation to keep, post, publish or use my Submission.
4. No Compensation
a. I understand Hatch International will not compensate, provide any financial benefit to, or reimburse me in any manner for my Submission or the above license granted to Hatch International.
5. Unauthorized Use
a. I represent and warrant that I have all rights necessary to grant the above license and that no infringement or violation of any third party rights, including, but not limited to, copyright, right of publicity, or right of privacy, will result from the use of the Submission.
b. I agree to defend, indemnify and hold Hatch International, and any persons authorized by Hatch International harmless from and against any liabilities, losses, claims, demands, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with the use of the Submissions or of my name, likeness, voice, or persona, or from the breach or alleged breach of my representations and warranties.
